Art Education teaches visual literacy. Students encounter
classical forms of art in their daily lives. Knowledge
of visual art throughout history helps students to better
understand themselves and the world around them. Visual
arts literacy is a vital ingredient in life-long learning.
We offer two Art Festivals per school year to showcase
students' art work in a gallery setting.
We strive, as a school, to honor the importance of
the Fine Arts in a student's education. We set high
standards and invariably our students area able to attain
them. They are energetic and eager to learn, create
and perform.
They are open to new ideas and new challenges in music
and art. Bi-annual musicals and art festivals are approached
with enthusiasm and flair that are a joy to witness.
It is a pleasure to teach in such a positive and energetic
environment.
