3- and 4-year-olds
Program
Philosophy
Our preschool is a comprehensive
early childhood education program for children ages 3 and 4. Research shows that
young children learn best through active, hands-on learning experiences in a safe,
healthy and nurturing environment. Through a curriculum that provides age-appropriate
activities, equipment and materials, children have many opportunities to be actively
engaged in the learning process. The curriculum promotes the early development
of the whole child in these areas of learning and growth: spiritual, intellectual,
social, physical, emotional, pre-reading and language.
The
curriculum is designed to help children develop and maintain positive self images,
develop their own abilities to create, to learn and to explore.
Daily
learning experiences include:
