Mrs. Pat Silverwood has taught at SMG for 14 of her 17 years of teaching. Education B.A., Edgewood College Among the many seminars and graduate continuing-education classes that she has taken, Mrs. Silverwood has particularly enjoyed a graduate-level class on genetics that included ideas for making it applicable at various educational levels. This genetics training, coupled with environmental classes, has enhanced Mrs. Silverwood's background. "I am much more aware of the gifts God has given us in this world. Hopefully, I model and teach this to my students."

Mrs. Linda Rutherford began teaching in 2000 and joined SMG in 2001. Education B.S. in Education, Bowling Green State University (2001) completing Master of Science for the Professional Educator, UW Madison "I am grateful each day at SMG to be working with such a loving staff and bright, open-minded students! These second graders teach me what is truly important in life, and make my profession fun and exciting everyday."
