Helen Julius "My family and I moved here from Oak Park, IL,
(near Chicago) in 1990; prior to that, we would spend a week every summer vacationing
in Wisconsin, so we were delighted that a new job for Paul, my husband, brought
us to Madison. Paul and I have two sons, both of whom are grown and married. David
and Christine live in San Francisco, PJ and Jennie live in Berwyn (near Chicago)
and had a son, Max, in 2005. I have taught preschool for 26 years. Mothering PJ
and David was a valuable practicum, but I also earned a formal Masters Degree
in Early Childhood Education (Concordia University, River Forest, IL). I am very
happy to be the Preschool Aide and be a part of the excitement of a child's earliest
school experience."
