Pastoral Care - Coronavirus Update
Due to coronavirus concerns, area hospitals have requested we suspend pastoral care visits (except for possible end-of-life situations). However, hospitals have chaplains available upon request, so just let any staff know if you would like spiritual support. The Pastoral Care Team at St. Maria Goretti will also offer phone support to anyone hospitalized.
Likewise, nursing homes and assisted living facilities are suspending or restricting visits. Therefore, St. Maria Goretti is suspending all in-person pastoral care visits, although we will continue phone support.
Need Assistance or Volunteer to Help
We recognize that other means of support may be necessary at this time, particularly for our most vulnerable parishioners. If you need assistance or would like to volunteer to help for such things as picking up groceries or other necessities, please contact Deacon Jerome at 608-268-2976 or email@example.com. At this time, we are unable to offer transporting parishioners.

Caring for the entire parish community—especially those who are sick, suffering, grieving, or isolated—is at the heart of pastoral care. At St. Maria Goretti, the Pastoral Care Team seeks to live out the Gospel message by ministering to those in need.
