Dianne Metz began her teaching career in 1987. She completed her bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a few years later she went back to get her master's degree.
For the last 15 years, she has been teaching at St. Maria Goretti. She began as the 1st Grade Teacher and was in that position for a number of years. Then, after receiving her Reading Licensure, she moved to Reading Specialist.
Since then she has taken on the role of Assistant Principal, and really enjoys the additional rewards and challenges the position brings. Dianne feels blessed to be on staff at St. Maria Goretti for such a large part of her career.
Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family. She has grown sons, who attended St. Maria Goretti as children, and she enjoys her time with them in this new phase of their lives.
Dianne and her husband, Tim, both love to read, cook, and go for walks with their two very large four-legged friends. Being a part of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church and School has been a very important part of their lives.
