Erica Vetrovec has been teaching at St. Maria Goretti since 2016. She started teaching first grade, then moved to third grade in 2020. Her family lives in the neighborhood and are parish members at St. Maria Goretti, so you might see them sometime walking to Mass or school!

Prior to this position, Erica stayed home with her children, Natalie and Benjamin, for seven years. Before that, she taught second grade at Edgewood Campus School. She also has experience working as a substitute teacher in her hometown of New Holstein, Wisconsin, at Edgewood Campus School, and in the school district of Oregon, Wisconsin.

Erica earned her Teaching License from Edgewood College. She has a bachelor's degree in Communication with an Art emphasis from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin.

Before her teaching career, she worked as a production artist and a graphic designer, both in a Chicago suburb and at Econoprint in Verona, Wisconsin. She enjoys making things and has been a participating artist in a few public art events, including Bucky on Parade, for which she created (and repaired many times) Bucky the Builder!
