Kathleen Schauder started working full-time at St. Maria Goretti in 2018. She was a substitute teacher here for eight years prior to taking the position of Technology/Library Teacher.
She was born and raised in Madison. She went to grade school at St. Maria Goretti and high school at Edgewood, and then earned her teaching degree at Edgewood College.
Kathleen met her husband in Madison and they were married at St. Maria Goretti in 1998 by Fr. Mike Burke. They lived in Los Angeles for 3 years until their oldest son was born and then moved back to Madison. They have two sons, Gavin is a junior at Memorial High School and Wyatt is a seventh grader at St. Maria Goretti.
Most of her free time is spent watching her son's sporting events. In particular, she loves watching her boys play football and baseball. She enjoys listening to audio books, going all-out on holiday decorations for the school library, and cheering for the Brewers!
